Feature request: UAC1 mode

Hello!

I would love to have ability to connect my S5 to the Playstation 5. Sony made weird decision (and few other console manufacturers) and they only support USB Audio Class 1.

I think making separate firmware for this will be the easiest way. Generally I not ever go beyond 24/96kHz for my music listening 🙂

There are few companies, and one of them: JDS labs that have "special" usb cables for UAC1 compatibility.

The S5 USB stage firmware does include the UAC 1 mode, "inherited" from some previously released units.

However, I am honestly unsure how successfully it works in practice, especially with different devices. For all these years, we did not receive any useful feedback on this. I guess people just preferred UAC 2.
